MY APPROACH TO COUNSELING

Starting therapy is a bold and meaningful step, and the work we do together will be uniquely shaped by both of us. You don’t have to navigate this alone. My approach is warm, collaborative, authentic, and tailored to your individual needs. Together, we’ll create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported. And while therapy can be challenging, there’s also room for moments of lightness and even laughter.

Walk and Talk Therapy may be a good fit if you find it difficult to sit still for long periods, feel more at ease in outdoor environments, or are looking to integrate a more holistic, body-based experience into your mental health care.

My approach is rooted in evidence-based neuroscience and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT supports change through mindfulness and values clarification, facilitating purposeful action, even in the presence of difficult thoughts, physical sensations, and emotions.

Beyond learning new tools, therapy can also be deeply validating and a source of relief. Many clients find they look forward to our sessions, even when we’re working through tough issues. When the moment calls for it, I sometimes incorporate creativity through music, art, and literary readings to make the therapeutic process more engaging and personally meaningful.

You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. You just need a willingness to show up for yourself. If you’re ready to take that next step, I’d like to support you. Reach out today, and let’s take this next step together.

Available via telehealth or in-person (limited availability), these sessions integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you navigate challenges, deepen self-awareness, and strengthen resilience.

I want to understand your perspective.

Because feeling safe is essential to doing meaningful work, I also take great care to protect your privacy. As a licensed therapist, I offer a discreet, secure, and strictly confidential space designed to meet the needs of individuals who value both emotional support and personal privacy.

I see therapy as a space for curiosity that opens the door to practical skills and meaningful growth that might otherwise feel out of reach.
